(From Reuters) The August trade gap grew 1.8 percent to $59.0 billion, just below economists' forecasts of $59.5 billion. But reality based Economic Forecasting Service easily foresaw a below consensus reading but it also called for a narrowing of the trade deficit based on the strong upswing in imports it picked up anecdotally.
